My girlfriend and I just got a 7 week old Black/brindle French Bulldog. I have never owned one, I previously had Shih Tzus and in considering a new dog it had things we wanted in a dog. So we picked, paid for and adopted a nice dog. But.... there are some issues and I joined so that maybe you guys can help me with this.

1. The dog squeals like a parrot all night when left to sleep in her pen, which includes a bed many toys, water and chew things, as well as a sound speaker making noises and a place to poop if necessary. Although the plan is to have her go outside, but we both work and can't really be up all night to take her out.

2. Chews everything but not mainly what we bought her to chew. WTF? My shoe? A box? A knob on the cabinet? really?

3. will squat to piss wherever whenever like it is ok, no matter how many times I say no or react by bringing her outside.

Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there-

That is a very young animal...there are many factors that can be at work here...I would recommend syncing up with a professional (trainer) and start working on this behavior while the animal is young.
